The Secret Island is a tale of discovery and adventure. On a mysterious island, a lonely character stumbles upon a message in a bottle, sparking an extraordinary journey: balancing on glass bottles, dancing with magical jellyfish, spinning radiant light wheels, and playing with quirky marmots. A world full of surprises awaits!
Created by Recover Laboratory and directed and conceptualized by Inna Huttunen and Susanna Liinamaa, The Secret Island showcases the group’s innovative, multidisciplinary approach to performing arts. In 2024, Recover Laboratory was honored with the Sirkuksen Maineteko award for their groundbreaking contributions to contemporary performance and their commitment to promoting equality.
