Tobias Piero Dohm’s open rehearsal at Cirko on October 23rd

Berlin-based circus artist Tobias Piero Dohm will work at Cirko – Center for New Circus’ residency in October. As part of the residency, Cirko will host a work-in-progress of the project Raum · Zeit by Dohm and sound designer Fabian Laute on Wed 23rd October @ 15.00

In his works, Tobias Piero Dohm uses object manipulation, juggling and installation art.

The residency is part of a collaborative project to strengthen networking and knowledge exchange between Finnish and German circus artists. The project is a collaboration by six Finnish and German cultural actors who want to increase the international exchange of contemporary circus, the German contemporary circus development organisation BUZZ (Bundesverband Zeitgenössischer Zirkus e.V.), the Goethe-Institut in Munich and Helsinki, the Finnish Institute in Germany and Cirko – Centre for New Circus together with Circus and Dance Info Finland.

The open rehearsal is free of charge. A discussion with the artists follows the work-in-progress.
