The show is produced by Mira Eskelinen, James Lórien Macdonald, and Juuso Kekkonen, who also perform at each show, joined by a changing roster of
3-4 local and international artists. Started in 2018 at Mad House Helsinki, Punch Up has gone on to be a regular feature at Korjaamo in Helsinki, as well as in Pori and Tampere, and collaborated with YLE Kioski in 2019. In 2021 Punch Up! was awarded as Vuoden Teatteriteko (Action of the Year) by the Theatre Centre of Finland.
