Ostrich Complex is an amazingly skilful and ticklingly comical performance by the French company Collectif d’équilibristes, that will not stick its head in the sand but instead turns the world upside down. The hypnotic group choreography of eight circus acrobats dances, signs, plays, runs and spins – on their hands. Come and experience a whole new perspective to the world!

Collectif d’équilibristes is a French contemporary circus company consisting entirely of handstand acrobats. Practicing handstands is a lonely business. This realization led a group of handstanding friends to create a company of their own: Collectif d’équilibristes was born. Jatta Borg, a Finnish circus artist who has lived and worked in France for an extended period of time, is one of the founding members of the company.

In addition to the publicly available performances, Ostrich Complex will be performed six times to 8th graders as part of Art Testers – the largest culture education program in Finland.
