Stage – Suvilahti Summer Theatre: A Night with a Choreographer: Valtteri Raekallio

Spend the night in the company of a choreographer at an open-air theater! Choreographer Valtteri Raekallio will introduce the three pieces on the program. After the award winning Cold Storage (2016) and the No Man’s Land dance movie that premiered last year, the night will culminate in An Exercise in Love with Raekallio’s trusted dancers Mirva Mäkinen and Eero Vesterinen.

Raekallio is one of the key choreographers of his generation. He enjoys working on the borderlines between different art forms and media. He is known for his large-scale, immersive and site-specific projects and uncompromisingly original stage productions.

The language of the evenings is Finnish.
