Cirko – Center for New Circus
Cirko – Center for New Circus has been promoting and developing Finnish contemporary circus since 2004. Cirko operates in Suvilahti, in the area of a historic gas power plant, where Cirko has two studios equipped for circus and a total of 1,400 square meters of work and performance space.
Cirko is Finland’s most significant artistic development and performance center, where circus artists work all year round. In addition to developing and presenting Finnish contemporary circus, Cirko brings the best of international contemporary circus to its own and partner stages in Finland.
